What happens after I send my deposit and fill out the order form?
We will telephone you to confirm receipt of your order. We know time is an issue with funerals so we will begin working on your booklet within hours of receiving your order. We will have a proof to you no later then 8 hours after you place your order.
How high is the quality of your booklets?
We are proud to say, very high indeed. We realise that Funeral Order of Service Booklets are not just used at the Funeral but they are also used as a keepsake. We use a top of the range printer and very high quality paper. All our booklets are scored (not just folded) and printed on a 200gsm card. All the images and text will be crisp and sharp.
What information should I include in the booklet?
This is different for everyone – many include a eulogy, funeral poems or prayers and a list of the funeral readings, others may put in a life biography, a tribute or a photo collage. If you are unsure, your funeral director, minister, priest, celebrant or undertaker will guide you in compiling the content.
Can I mix and match designs?
Yes. If you would like to take different elements from the different styles then we are happy to accommodate you. Please just mention this in the order form.
What happens if we have poor quality photos but we would love to include them in the booklet?
We offer a free image manipulation service for a maximum of two photographs ($20 per additional photo). This includes retouching, color correcting, removing blemishes and extracting people from backgrounds and group shots. We have software for specifically enlarging photographs while preserving quality if the ones you supply are too small, so its fair to say we can work with the majority of photos.
How many times can I make changes to the booklet?
After you receive your first proof of the booklet by email, you may make 2 sets of amendments without any charge. Additional request for amendments after that will incur a fee of $25 per set of requests.
What type of digital images do you accept?
Almost any image format. Please don’t send .gifs as these will have a limited color spectrum. Please try and keep your photos down to a reasonable size when emailing (<10mb). If we have any issues with the images you have sent then we will inform you straight away so you can organise alternatives.
I have a photo I want to use but I only have the physical copy.
No problem, we can scan in the photo if you can get it to us in time. You can arrange to send it to us in person/courier or express mail, time permitting. Please mention this when filing out the order form. This is free for 2 photos ($20 per additional photo).
How soon will I receive my booklets in the post after I have approved the Order of Service Booklet?
After you have signed off on the final booklet we will send the artwork straight to the printer. The printed copies are usually in the post 24 hours after you approve the final artwork. The booklets are sent by registered, express mail.
